I decided to do an intuitive reading for this year, and got some insights that surprised me! Would you like a new year reading? I'll tell you how to get one free of charge, in this post. Keep reading... For my reading, I chose one of my own cards, and several from the other decks mentioned below... The Gingerbread ReadingGingerbread Reading: Daily Self Care Routine You deserve to take gentle good care of yourself and are being called to have a think about what might be missing in the way of self-care. Make a commitment to creating simple self-care rituals that will nurture and support you. Aim for a daily one. But also design at least one comforting, cozy go-to ritual or routine for days when you need a little extra self-care. Archangel TarotARCHANGEL TAROT: 3 Cards - Sun, Seven of Ariel, Page of Ariel “Great things are headed your way, and your plans will succeed beyond your wildest dreams. Keep your thoughts and words positive and believe in yourself. Inspiring new ideas will lead to abundance and happiness.” But it won't happen overnight. You have invested wisely. Have patience and wait for the harvest. You may not see it clearly, but slow and steady progress is being made. The reading also said to get to work on n my next endeavor. I have two endeavors planned for this year: completing my cozy reading card deck and writing a cozy lifestyle eBook. An excellent opportunity will be offered to you. Time to get to work. And it said to expect great advice and the solutions I need to any problem or concern that might arise. Angel TherapyANGEL THERAPY READING: 2 Cards … I pulled two cards from this deck. The first one said I’m an Indigo and the descriptions I found helped me understand a lot about who and how I am. “Indigo adults are very spiritual. Some of them even have awareness of other dimensions and parallel realities. They cannot accept anything without knowing the reason behind it. They like to question everything. And put all their energy towards finding the answer. The purpose of indigo adults is to bring positive changes to the world. As they have a strong intuition and spiritual thought process they are able to uplift others. They are empathetic towards people and so their life purpose is to help others.” - MindFool And the second is the one that said to let go of behavior that's getting in my way, which I believe refers to overworking, especially in light of my chronic illness. The BeastiesFor this reading, I used the book above, and the app created by Sarah Seidelmann. Here are the animals or beasties this reading offered me. Each one comes with it's own manifesto, and I am sharing some of the manifesto's encouragement for each one. CARIBOU… "Trust reserve & love who you are" is about faith and spirituality. It's hard for me to accept my own skepticism. I tend to see it as a flaw. And it frustrates me. It makes me feel silly - why pray when I'm not even sure I believe? Why act on a belief I’m not sure of? But this part of the reading encourages me to love his part of who I am, and trust it. But also, to feel free to "investigate" and be open to "hidden wonder." And apparently, this tendency is very much a part of being Indigo. keep searching, dig, excavate And think it through - "consider" and "mull" and "meditate," trusting that process and the Self who needs it. "Slow down to speed up" is about working too much. I got another card today about behavior that no longer serves you, and it was about the push and the hurry involved in how much I work. This reading suggests that "slow" is a better response to my good ideas and my creativity. And it encourages me to move forward with the part of my reading that tells me to focus on self-care and rest. So does this, I think… uncover the deliciousness & enjoy yumminess So "love" the excited, creative part of me that wants to go, go, go, and even feed off that energy, and slow down, anyway. It also suggests being in it for the long haul and to give up on the expectation of fast results. I'm better at sprints than marathons, so this calls for a shift. The new things we want always do. keep pace, steady on and maintain power for the long haul. And part of my intuitive calling for this year is not just to develop daily Self-care rituals and routines, but daily routines, in general. So the caribou reading adds… relish routine - which will lead to enhanced awareness and ease About branding and my archetype… Move toward goodness, get to the easy place, uncover the delicious & enjoy yumminess. About my blog and work, in general… connect with the crowd, tune in, sense trends, channel group energy notice what others can't, make the invisible visible And finally, I also drew a card from Sarah's Feel Good card deck, which makes it clear what a priority my spiritual practice must be this year. This was a really interesting post and I'm curious about the cards you use. Finding a routine is a huge challenge for me not because I don't have the time. I have nothing but time and a blank slate is overwhelming. If that makes sense. Good luck with your upcoming endeavors. The happiest of New Years to you!

Happy New Year, Mimi! Thanks so much. I know what you mean about having time but still needing to create routines. I am still struggling with it, too. I have made some progress but it all still needs tweaking.
