21 Days of Hygge: A Twist on Dancing with Winter

Trying to exercise without getting bored is harder for some than others. How is it for you?

I get bored pretty easily, but because I LOVE TO DANCE, I sometimes find it easier to make myself to do it. When you're dancing, especially just kinda doing your own thing, it makes it a little different each time.

I jump on my rebounder and then dance for a bit once I am done. Would something like that work for you? Research suggests that 15 minutes/day gives you the same benefits as 45 minutes of jogging.

And you know each week, I have wanted to tempt you into dancing, even if it is just for a few minutes. For example, the time it takes to play a video or two?

This week, I thought we could Twist! And here are 2 songs you could use to do it...

Fun, right?

I have a modern song I like to twist to while I am on the rebounder. It's Faith by Stevie Wonder & Ariana Grande. Is there a modern song you find twist-worthy?

See you next time!

Love, Jeanine

Since my exercise involves swimming and biking, dance is not apotentialvariant. But, if I could find a dance floor....

I admire people who exercise so well! Still, I hope you find a dance floor every once in a while. :)

I love to dance. I do Zumba twice a week, and I am hoping to get back into tap dance in about a week or so. It's great exercise and fun as well.

That's wonderful, Alice! I keep saying I want to try Zumba, but haven't yet. I didn't like tap dancing but I used to love jazz dance lessons. I'd love to get back to that someday.

Vidya, I haven't been dancing as much as I need to, either. So I am going to take this cue from myself & play those videos so I can dance. :) But I'd still love to know your modern idea, when you've thought of it.

I have no problem with this. I dance quite often, sometimes to the music in my head :-).

I love that, Kemkem! I have done the same. And sometimes, if I mention the song to my son, he'll go pull it up on YouTube and we'll both dance around for a while. :)
