21 Days of Hygge: Finding Hidden Wishes

Another good day for wishing, don't you think? What's most important to you right now?

One way to find out if there are hidden wishes just beneath the surface is to make a cup of hot chocolate, light a candle, and sit in a comfy spot.

Sip your hot chocolate slowly, while keeping your mind as open as possible. Keep your journal nearby & without thinking of anything first, just start writing a list of whatever comes to mind between sips.

Keep adding to the list until you have finished your hot chocolate, writing down every single thing that comes to mind. You also can draw or sketch any images your mind offers you, because your wishes may come to you that way.

Once the time is up, take a look at what you've written. Did anything surprise you?

When I tried this exercise myself, I noticed that my deepest wishes showed up toward the end of the list. And some of the wishes that came to mind were surprises.

I have often wished my life was more magical, that I could manifest what I wanted the way Samantha Stevens does on Bewitched. But surprisingly, wishing for 60s TV magic was second to last on my list.

Guess that means my life can be happy without magical twitching! ;)

What might you discover about your own wishes?

Happy wishing!

Love, Jeanine

My secret wish is not unlike yours, but instead of Samantha, I wanted to be like Hayden Christiansen in Looper where he could jump from one place to the other. I am going to give this a try this evening. The hot chocolate entices :-).

Isn't everyday a good day for wishing and creating?

I am planning on doing this exercise today! In fact, I am going to write down my dream life and how I want it to be!

Thanks.
