From time to time, I share blog posts or other resources that really inspire me, especially if I believe they might help you. And today, I have several good ones to share...
What is Reiki?
Lately, I have been thinking a lot about letting go, and how important that is, for myself, but also for all of us who are dealing with this new normal caused by a pandemic that still isn't over! So it's top of mind, in a sense, when it comes to ways to help.
And Brenda Fluharty's blog post reminded me that Reiki's gentle energy is a powerful healing technique, and a great resource for letting go.
She blogs at The Spiritual Mystic, a spiritual and metaphysical blog.

Meals on a Budget
I have completely gotten off track with both meal planning and saving money when it comes to meals! So Martha DeMeo's blog post was right on time.
She blogs at The Martha Review and is one of my favorite blogging companions.
She wrote about how she stretched 2 really delicious sounding meals into several leftover ones and it inspired me to try again. My son and are on different schedules because of his work hours, but I am going to try to work around that and let Martha's post inspire me.

For the Love of a Good Book
Do you love to read as much as I do?
I have often fantasized about owning a bookstore.
It would be a small mom and pop store, not a big chain dynasty. And I'd have comfy chairs and beautiful, tall wooden bookcases. Small tables would hold tea services but provide enough space for people to sit, read and have a cup of tea if they wanted.
Since I've also always wanted to live in a small town, in my dream bookstore owner life, I'd know everyone who came in and would always know which books to recommend. Just like on Good Witch where Cassie Nightingale always knows what her customers need even before they do.
Well, bookstore owner is just one of the bookish career possibilities Vidya Tiru mentions in her blog post. I'm pretty sure that as a bookstore owner, I would find a way to incorporate the other favorite of mine that she mentioned - bibliotherapist. You know, since I would know everyone!
Vidya Tiru is the Lady in Read who reviews the most delightful books on her blog, Lady in Read Writes. This past week, she wrote a post for all of us who love to read and wonder what it might be like to get paid to do so.
