What I love most about this hygge cinnamon bread experience was making it with my son! He's an adolescent, and sometimes can't be moved from tablet or laptop. But this afternoon, he put on his 90s playlist and we rocked out while making cinnamon bread in the kitchen. LOVED every moment of it!! What can you cook or bake with your family that might make this season merrier for all of you? I used a Tastefully Simple mix called Bountiful Beer Bread as my base. Disclaimer: I am a TS consultant, so if you click one of those links above, it will take you to my website & if you buy anything, something might get added to my comfort food fund. :) RECIPE Bread Mix 2/3 cup of sugar 1/3 cup of ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract 1 1/2 cans of soda or something sparkling: I used vanilla bean soda 3 tablespoons of butter Pour 1 tablespoon each of cinnamon sugar on top, into the butter. INSTRUCTIONS So, our the bread mix into a mixing bowl while setting the oven to warm up to 375 degrees & slowly melting 3 tablespoons of butter (I set it on 2 or lower, to make sure it won't burn.). Mix the cinnamon & sugar together and add to the bread mix. Then, add the vanilla extract and stir again. Pour in the vanilla bean soda and stir for 20-30 seconds. Then, place in a loaf pan & pour the butter on top, then sprinkle the second cinnamon sugar mixture. BAKING It will need to bake for 50+ minutes, depending on your oven, I check mine at 52 minutes and usually, it's ready. Let it sit until it cools, on a cooling rack if you have one, before you try to slice or serve it. Enjoy! Love, Jeanine
