I can't even count how many times I have done this challenge (sometimes even with the same blog as the time before, LOL.) And each time I love the experience & am grateful for it! I hope all of the other bloggers have enjoyed it just as much. I love that I get to meet new people & discover new blogs. And I get quite a bit more traffic than I can compel on my own. Hopefully, I'll be back again for the challenge in January or April. Hope to see you there! |
Which of the Archetypes Did You Like Best?
If you want to see all my tries for each archetype in the Fantastical Beauty system, click here.
What I love about trying them all is that even though I don't identify with them all, I feel like I know how to borrow them if I need to infuse my day with the strengths they offer. I could dress in one of those outfits, or a similar one, and be dressing intentionally with what I need that day in mind.
Which archetype would you most like to take into the rest of your day? Once you've selected one, consider creating a capsule wardrobe for it.
Thanks so much for joining me on this journey!
For me, it clarified that Seer is my best archetype and solidified my plans for doing it casually, using the Banshee subtype. I'm excited to have built my own casual Banshee capsule wardrobe.
Did it make anything clearer about your own style? I hope it did!
Next month, starting tomorrow, I'll be blogging about winter blues, seasonal depression, seasonal affective disorder, etc. Join me for my Winter Blues Series.
See you then!
Love, Jeanine
Given the theme of the day, I vote for the scarecrow. Who simply wears whatever attire that can be found. And, is perfectly comfortable in those digs.
I'm sorry, Jill! I never wear jeans, so I don't think to include them. Every type can wear jeans as part of a casual look (except maybe Dragon Princess). With any type, it would be like the base, and then you add more type-related things to the outfit to define the type. Glad we traveled the challenge road together this month, too. Hope to see you next time! :)
I loved these posts, but missed some of them - so, I am going to be starting at the beginning of this series and figure out which one I am. They all seem really cool! Love your blog!
Thanks so much, Patricia!! I am hoping to catch up with your blog, too. Let me know if you claim a type! :)
I will have to go through and work out what fits me best. I'm in the jeans camp too for winter. Glad to have met you on this journey and good luck in the future.
Thanks, Janice! I'm glad to have met you, too, and have loved your art. In fact, I'm ready to join you for the next sunset. I'll bring the tea.
I'm afraid I don't think about style. Only comfort. I hardly see anyone but my husband these days and live in jeans in cold weather and shorts in hot weather and whatever shirts fit best with them. Fashion has never been my thing. That's one way in which I don't take after my mom. I'm a Pajama Affiliate, and hardly see the outside world. I work in my PJ's at home and change if that becomes too warm or if I need to get groceries. I'll come back here next time I need to buy new clothes to see if I have a style.
Hi Barbara! It will probably be February before I talk much about style again, since this website is more hygge than fashion. But I totally understand living in pjs, because I do, too, when I don't have to go anywhere. I think of style as what to wear when you have to leave the house. ;)
Jeanine, it has been a joy getting to know you better, while enjoying visions of different wardrobe options and considering the Fantastical Fashion system. I expect to be back to the UBC in January, with a series on Upbeat Living from my holistic practice side. I hope you'll be back too! Meanwhile, all blessings to you in your path.
Thanks so much, Kebba!! I really loved your meditation series. You gave me so many good ideas! I hope to be back in January, too, and will look forward to your holistic wisdom.
Yes, it really did go by quickly!! I remember the moment I realized the dates were in the 20s, LOL. It was fun to have your companionship this month & I hope to see you in January. :)
I as well thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, first completion for me. It helped me to lose up a bit; looking forward to the next.
Thank you for all the support in the group!
Congratulations, Ute!! You are so welcome! Hope to see you at the next challenge in January.
I don't think that I've found my archtype but it's OK. I'll just keep exploring. Thank you for introducing them. I love looking at the fashion statements.
Oh, thanks, Alice!! Well, I think it's good just to have noticed some that you liked. It was great to have your company this month.
