Introducing the Dragon Princess

Dragon Princess might be perfect for you if you need a little excitement, want more glamour or bling in your life, and love pampering yourself in a way that is guaranteed to make you more beautiful.

It reminds me of playing dress-up & I think the word "princess" is perfect for this type. It's not hygge at all, but is very elegant, instead.

If you were royal, there would be a lot of pressure to look your very best every time you were seen, as would befit the crown. But you'd have been doing it all your life, so it would come naturally to you, and you'd wear the look of royalty with poise!

The Dragon Princess archetype is a way of doing that without having to be born into royalty. :)

Does this archetype appeal to you? Let me know in the comment section.

See you tomorrow!

Love, Jeanine

Jeanine, I love the name of this type! While "dragon" sounds very strong, "princess" always meant feminine, when I was a child. I was born in a Year of the Dragon (the gentlest one), so I relate to the idea of a feminine appearance quietly fronting great wisdom and leadership. Alas, the outfit elements wouldn't be me, but maybe I have related ones. Thanks for another fun window into fashion archetypes!

Oh, that's neat, Kebba, that it has meaning for you. Well, maybe there will be a subtype that interests you. Thanks!

I love the jacket, but overall I probably couldn't do it. I need a bit more comfort to my look. My favorite go-to is jeans. I love to dress them up with nice tops, pretty earrings and shoes like sandals or boots. I like to look nice but can't stand it if I can't move comfortably. What type would this fit?

Boy, do I understand, Jill! I have to have comfort, too, and that's, of course, part of what inspired my love for all things hygge!! You might want to check out the Nymph archetype, because that is a comfy one. I can't remember which days I posted on it but you could do a search.

Beautiful designs and quite dramatic. It's definitely not me, but I think that I have friends who would really rock this outfit.

Thanks, Alice! I can think of a friend, too, who would do well with this type.

Love the concept of the Dragon Princess! I could definitely do with some more glamour or bling in your life (right now I’m working from home in my pajamas haha!!) Time to shape a different style for myself!
