"Spiritual practices help us discover our deepest values, address our longing to connect with the divine, and propel us on the journey to wholeness — all aspects of spirituality. Spiritual practices are specific activities you do to deepen your relationships with the sacred and the world around you. They enable you to become actively engaged with your inner or 'true' selves— the depth of your being." ~ Spirituality and Practice And making that spiritual practice hygge could mean personalizing it so that it fits you like a glove that was custom-made for your hand. The quote above really captures my reasons for beginning again to create a spiritual practice. In wandering away from my spiritual practice, I left parts of myself behind. And even if I still wasn't sure I knew what the heck I believed, I knew I needed to walk back in to the process. Slowly and gradually. Stay tuned. Have you ever wandered away from yourself? How did you bring yourself back? Love, Jeanine |
