The Nymph Archetype

What I love about the Nymph archetype is the stillness, and the nurturing hearth priestess qualities.

If you need nurturing, a deeper connection to nature, or support for your love of hearth and home, all of which offer connection to hygge, this type may be a good match for you. Or, if you know you are a wise nurturer, this type will help you express that in your wardrobe.

The Nymph archetype has two influences. One is a sort of corporate vibe that may make it easy to see how you could do this type with your work wardrobe. The other has a flowy, Grecian influence which would make Nymph a comfy, hygge style to wear.

What do you think? Does it seem like a possibility for you?

Let me know in the comment section.

See you next time!

Love, Jeanine

LOL, Roy! Well, thanks for taking a look and then, commenting, anyway. I know you're visiting from the Ultimate Blog Challenge.

And though you didn't ask, I thought I'd mention that each type works for both men & women. I think of male Nymphs as a sort of professor type (the sage quality) so they might wear tweed jackets, shawl-collared button-down cardigans (maybe even with elbow patches), jeans or other comfy pants.

Jeanine, wow, I can really related to everything you are saying about the Nymph type. I dress a lot like today's outfit, and I used to have those black shoes! Hmm, have we found my type? No, no, but I want to be more feminine and flowy :-).

Oh my gosh, that's exciting, Kebba!! Well, I wouldn't decide for sure yet but it could be. See what you think tomorrow for my outfit idea & then the subtypes may tell you even more.

I'm not sure if I've found my archtype yet, but I do love the green and the idea of flowy fashion.

Oh, neat! Flowy tends to just sit on me & not know where to go, but I love to see it move. You know like as you're walking. I have a dress that I keep wearing occasionally, even though it is not my best because of the swirl. :)
