"Creating a sacred space that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day." -Elizabeth Rider, Huffington Post
Whether you create a vision board once a year, on New Year's Eve, or every winter, to help with winter blues, it is a powerful way to support yourself in making your wishes come true.
As you begin planning your vision board, think of your wishes & visualize them coming true.
Light a candle, make a pot of tea, and as you sip, try to connect with how it will feel when those wishes come true. Add those feelings to your board.
Then, think about what other feelings & experiences you want to bring into your life. For me, the most important one I want to feel is peace. What would it be for you?
If you decide to create a vision board just for winter, imagine yourself at your very best, and capture as much of how that would look and feel as you can.
What would winter be like if it felt wonderful, instead of being a challenge you have to cope with for several months?
If you're a homeschooling mom like me, include your dream of how you want your family life to feel. How do you want each homeschooling day to feel?
Have a wonderful time planning & creating your vision board!

But do vision boards work?
"By putting a vision board somewhere you can see it every day, you will prompt yourself to visualize your ideal life on a regular basis. And that’s important because visualization activates the creative powers of your subconscious mind and programs your brain to notice available resources that were always there but escaped your notice. Through the Law of Attraction, visualization also magnetizes and attracts to you the people, resources, and opportunities you need to achieve your goal." ~ Jack Canfield, JackCanfield.com
I hope you found that reassuring!
Have fun creating your vision board and bringing your wishes to life.
