When I grew up, my mother did not want company in the kitchen. So I was an adult before I learned to cook. I was one of those church members who would bring a store-bought tub of macaroni to the dinner, a bag of chips to game night, or the grocery store's apple pie for friendsgiving.
Surprisingly, though, once I decided to test my limiting belief that I could not ever learn to cook well, I began to enjoy creating new meals. I'm still not a whiz in the kitchen, but my meals are made with love and they often surprise me (and others) with how well they turn out.
So I share recipes, and meal planning ideas, from time to time. Especially when I learn a new one.
And I'm always on the lookout for quick and easy meals, budget meals, and cooking tips. When I find them, I will share them here.
See you in the kitchen!
